1. Introduction

Tennessee department services are related to the work of children services. This department is engaged with professional compassion which improves their work more accurately. They work with the family to improve them with more positivity and make them successful.  This report will shed lights on the entire discussion and regulation details regarding this working.

2. Case notes discussion from the interview demonstrating AASW and the ideas of Cousins and Toussaint

AASW code of ethics demonstrates the responsibilities & the values to effectively attribute the social work professions. Cousins and Toussaint demonstrates the social work supervisor to efficiently identify the crisis and guides the social working team properly. The working culture is related to services which are given to children as well as the family to become successful. Phillip Suber, the team leader of Foster care social service declined that they work with compassion to improve their organisational success. They use their management tools and skill more efficiently for concrete trust among the families.  Additionally, Erica Owens an employee of Foster care said that the most important element of their work is time management and also empathy, genuinely, eagerness to work in this field. Juvenile Justice Kelly believed that engagement peace and relationship building with the employee and family is the key quality for earning a suitable outcome (Barsky, 2017). Even Giovanna Gomez does lots of daily engagement things such as calling, meeting, visiting, documenting individual family situations.

Cousins and Toussaint describes the role, time management, doable and undoable work of social workers. The author of Cousins and Toussaint define the importance of documentation. According to that, the case of family management requires much writing documentation for identifying which services are doable and which is not. These documentations are vital as case managers deliver those individual stories to the courtroom sometimes (Neagu & Sebba, 2019). Even this also provides the concept of right or wrong management applying with individual families. Social working is a flexible job which requires the engagement of 24 hours in a day as per the client's requirement. This department works for those individuals and children who have been abused physically and mentally. The desk holders not only involved in writing documents they also went to the community to meet with the families. Relation with the supervisor is very important in this job and the team member also. The work needs partnership with the court system, school system, law enforcement community and many others to provide exact service (Neagu & Sebba, 2019).

3. Confidentiality explanation to the client

According to AASW code of ethics, Confidentiality demonstrates the constant support to the clients for securing their valuable information (Carrand, 2017). Confidentiality is significant for the social working context in Australia. The complaint management process of Tennessee service maintains strict and legal standards regarding confidentiality. Although the case study of each client is different from each other and they need different confidential context to recover from the proceeding termination, AASW code of ethics includes a wide range of confidentiality (Frederico et al., 2017). According to AASW code, the social worker needs demonstrating the confidentiality of all gathered information and inform the client about the strict maintenance of confidentiality. First of all explaining the proper definition of confidentiality in the professional course of social working (Frederico et al., 2017). The management of Tennessee Service helps the client to feel them free to share information and ensure an authentic ethical context for safe information space. The social worker faces challenges to capture the eyes of the children family as the family believes that their children are taken away from them. They feel nervous and anxious to share information.

The social workers need to foster the demonstrated values and responsibilities with the clients to take the children under their custody (Musgrov & Michell, 2018). As per the AASW Code, the social workers convenience the clients to keep their information safe and will not circulate among the unauthentic person. Secondly, ask the clients about their concerns about confidentiality that make confident about the ethical roles of the social workers (Musgrov & Michell, 2018). The social worker clarifies the confidentiality preferences and breaks confidentiality if the children harm themselves badly. In such a scenario, the social worker os bound to break the confidentiality rules. Thirdly, the social worker can report against the unsafe circumstances faced by the children such as abuse, negligence that possess a traumatic condition for the children. As per the AASW Code, the social worker can reveal confidentiality if the children commit any criminal offence or about to commit the crime (Aifs.gov.au, 2019). Juvenile justice provides a safe texture for the children to keep them away from punishment by justifying their ages.

4. Assessment of the situation and issues of individual including class, ethnicity, and gender

It has been noticed that from 13% of Australian adults, 8.5% in their childhood experienced physical abuse, and 7.7% experienced sexual abuse (Aifs.gov.au, 2019). The Tennessee University for children services focuses on the wellbeing of children. The children abuse and neglect can be subtyped as Physical, neglect, emotional, exposition of family ferocity, and sexual abuse.  There is no specific class where it has been seen, only still from the different cases few aspects can be derived. Parental behaviour is one of the most significant and arguable aspects of child abuse in Australia.  In the report, it has been seen that the case managers have experienced the physical marks of the children who are not at all acceptable from every aspect (Humanium.org, 2020). The Childcare services work on the different level of child abuse and take prevention to rescue them from their sufferings. Poverty or Financially disable parents are one of the major factors in child abuse. In the interview, it has been observed that without the support of her family members a single mother with her 5 children was completely helpless. She can't provide the basic needs of her children. Her house was fully messed up and not having a single bed to sleep. The case managers helped her with the basic things and gradually she was being able to put their children into education.

The migrant children or refugee or unaccompanied minors are one of the parts of society that are being affected badly. Minority children face discrimination after reaching Australia. The basic needs like health and education are not sufficient enough to cope up with the society and also security. Northern Territory Govt. pointed out the sexual abuse of children among remote communities. Around 46,187 children were facing child abuse. From 45,714 children, there were 51% girls and 49% of boy’s children faced child abuse in the year between 2015 and 2016 (Humanium.org, 2020). The sexual abuse of children is more intensive than boys. The risk of child abuse decreases as age increases. Among every 1000 children, 16.1 % of infants were affected those are aged less than 12 months rather than the 1-4 years aged group children. (9%, in 2015-2016). The least risk children are the age between 15 to 17 years (3.9%). From every 1000 children of Strait Islander Terrors and Aboriginals, 43.6% of children are substantiated compared to the non-homespun of 6.4% (according to AIHW in 2017a).

The increased percentage of children around 17% from 2012 to 2016 in OOHC which comes to 39,621 to 46,448 children is the reflection of child abuse (Aihw.gov.au, 2020). According to COAG in 2009, the safest place for a child is in families where they feel protective, happy without any worry. In 2014 AIFS and 1999 WHO, it has been marked that childhood neglect and abuse covers both internationally and non-internationally behaviours of parents or relatives is a responsibility, faith which causes in children being injured emotionally or physically (Aihw.gov.au. 2020). The impact of child abuse has a wide range that hampers child development. The extreme outcome of it can cause physical as well as mental disability of a child. The children often engage with criminal offences which ruin their entire life. It stains language ability and reduces social skills also. The case managers of Tennessee University of children welfare focus on the mental as well as physical development and wellbeing of children by engaging themselves from various aspects. With full empathy, passion, dedication and flexibility they devoted themselves to their work.

5. Explain the application of McAuliffe and Chenoweth model for accessing the individual’s situation

The ethical decision demonstrates the core foundation of the social work as well as justifying the preferences of the human service practitioners (Neagu and Sebba, 2019). The McAuliffe model can be helpful to access the individual situation needs understanding to confront effective case management. McAuliffe and Chenoweth's model clicks the efficient photo to exemplify the condition of each child & practically apply the knowledge to ensure children safety. On the other hand, Chenoweth model helps to make the ethical decision. Apart from these, it is considered as one of the useful frameworks to develop contextual as well as reflective ethical practice.

McAuliffe and Chenoweth approached a model in the year 2007 where a circular structure is provided (Wald, 2017). The structures engaged many accounts such as values of social working, four related sectors (reflection in a critical approach, consultancy, sensibility in cultural discussion, accountability) and many others.

This model helps in exploring the ethical dilemma occurring in any social working context. Even these models provide the identifying capability to access the principles which are related to ethics. McAuliffe and Chenoweth's model critically evaluates and highlights various points regarding the process of decision making. Many problems and issues arise for employees who are engaged in the social working field. The McAuliffe and Chenoweth model has an interpretation of solving various safety-related issues (Wald, 2017). The worker who has not confronted any difficulties in the past can take ideas from this to ensure the elimination of child and family abusive issues. By applying ethical code, various resources, as well as supporting elements of the working, can be assessed. This McAuliffe and Chenoweth model have the ethical structure which can be applied in both the social and educational practices. The most important element of McAuliffe and Chenoweth model is accountability which is considered as the major practice part for the industry of human services. It mainly enlightens the social workers' efficiency to preserve their granted decision (Wald, 2017). Many times it has been seen that in individual situations this element helps to execute the proper decision with logical effort in the prospect of child safety. Even the workers also pay attention to the medium of social, individual as well as professional context for correctly implementing their work.

Critical reflection is one of the important elements in terms of practising social work. The McAuliffe and Chenoweth model show that critical reflection helps in the field of social service. It enhances the decision making power of the social worker more progressive (Neagu & Sebba, 2019).  By this element, workers can think critically and also develop their skill. This provides the optimised context to deduct abusing situations in individual families. The other essential element in McAuliffe and Chenoweth model is Cultural sensitivity. It is very much required in recent culture. Cultural sensitivity is a basic thing in terms of working in the field of human and social services. Eliminating this matter can even discriminate against the clients too.  Different values of various cultures also get attention for this element and according to that the workers can assess their working decision (Neagu & Sebba, 2019). Consultation provides the worker to evaluate the proper operation to detect the issue of family and child abuse. By this, they can take initiative for solving those issues and protect the confidentiality of clients.
